The Centennial Guild's Mission
The Centennial Guild of Children's Hospital Los Angeles is an Associate support group of Children's Hospital Los Angeles. It was formed in 2001 by a group of concerned volunteers from the West San Fernando and Conejo Valleys for the express purpose of serving and performing charitable fundraising for the benefit of patients of Children's Hospital Los Angeles.
Children's Hospital Los Angeles
Although Children's Hospital Los Angeles is located in the heart of downtown Los Angeles, it provides a vital service to our local community. Last year alone, more than 4,000 children from the Conejo Valley were treated at Children's Hospital. Each year, 360,000 more children are treated throughout the state of California and surrounding areas and are given loving care and hope at this amazing facility regardless of their ability to pay. Many patients are the children of your neighbors and friends.
We are fortunate to have an institution of this caliber in our midst. It is the only stand alone children's hospital in Los Angeles, the only Level One Pediatric Trauma Center and one of only ten Children's Hospitals in the entire country to be ranked in all 10 pediatric specialties by US News and World Report.
Since its founding in 1901, miracles have been happening every day at Children's Hospital Los Angeles.
